Many teens and parents are unaware of the diseases or effects of texting frequently. MY question to them is: Why would you endanger your very own child to the problems that could occur in their life later on and hurt them? Their parents often can’t decipher them, and a huge chunk of teens’ social interactions go unsupervised. “Is texting getting out of hand?” Parents are not the ones who get theses horrible problems that their child gets later in their future. I think they should step up and help their child now before it is too late. “The Pew Research Center’s Internet & American Life Project reported in April that 72 percent of all 12-to-17-year-olds in the country are now regular text messagers, sending on average 1,500 texts a month. But as more and more teenagers’ text more and more frequently, parents fret about how to accommodate texting in their families and homes.” They do not need to accommodate texting into their everyday live; they need to take it out their lives. “The vast majority of parents concede that using screen media is part of what it means to be a young person today, and they don’t want to deprive their children.” Do you think they would change their mind if they actually knew what would happen? The answer is most parents would change their mind. I think they should act now, and not have to pay in the future.

Sierra, it looks like you have a good grasp on your topic, you have valid and up to date information on your blog. I also think parents should step up their game and keep a better eye on what their kids are engaging in when it comes to texting or anything for that matter. But overall your blog looks good!! Keep up the good work.
