“Boys typically send and receive 30 texts a day; girls typically send and receive 80 messages per day. The report found that teens typically make or receive five voice calls per day. So basically, teens send about 10 times more text messages on their phones than phone calls. Also, 64 percent of parents say they examine the contents of their child's phone. And e-mail is basically useless to teens.”
A problem that is now occurring is the frequent use of texting. From the quote above, teens send more about 10 times more text messages on their phones than they make calls”, this shows that teens are not getting the practice they need for speaking out loud.
I think this is bad problem for teenagers’ future nowadays because of texting. Teens are neglecting the effect of speaking out loud, and this can be very harsh for businesses they will have later in life. After all the, first thing we learned to do when we were babies was to speak.
